People need to stop victimizing themselves. We all have disadvantages and advantages. So, it’s not only women who suffer on account of their gender, men and everyone in between are victims to traditional gender roles.
People considered “fat” face a lot of taunting, but, so do people of all body types. In this society, no one is good enough.
The list goes on, but, I won’t touch on anything else, as you can probably grasp the point.
I understand that people feel like they are being oppressed or bullied, I feel that way too more often then not, but, just remember that you are not the only demographic that is facing cruelty.

My girlfriend made a post about Suicide Silence and I would just like to state my opinion.
It is a tragedy that Mitch Lucker died. It is when anyone dies before their time. I feel sorry for his close friends and family.
But, it is absolutely ridiculous that I can name people who have never met him let alone talked to him that feel they are personally affected by this to the point where they are missing school or crying during school, unable to work. Sure, some may say that he was an inspiration, but, may I ask how? His songs glorify domestic abuse and rape, and, imply that those who are suicidal are pathetic.
Fine. If you want to say that he was your idol and that you felt personally inspired by him, go ahead. I have honestly done the same with certain musicians. But don’t let his death affect your daily life if you’ve never even had a conversation with the guy.
I am not saying that he was a bad person, because, I didn’t know him, and I admit that. I’m not mourning his death because I didn’t know him. I wasn’t connected to him in any way shape or form.
